On Saturday 14 February, Marmelo invites you to celebrate Dia dos Namorados - Valentine’s Day as it has long been honoured in Portugal, through ritual, symbolism, and time-worn gestures of devotion.
For one evening only, we present a four-course dinner guided by these traditions, a menu that reflects the way love has been expressed for generations: through generosity, patience, and food made to be shared.
Throughout the night, our team will share the stories behind these customs, bringing the quiet poetry of Portuguese romance to the table: unhurried, intimate, and deeply felt.
This is not a loud celebration.
It’s a slow one.
